It is useful to pause and go subscribe to Craig Silverman's Substack, where he teaches you how to install and use the Wayback Machine extension. When you hit old, dead websites you can easily right-click on any page and select "Oldest Version" from the Wayback Machine extension. This will take you straight to a previously archived version of the website, if there is one.
