For the Weekend Warriors, Weirdos & Whackjobs - Issue #35
Advocates for safe-public-records sex.
This week saw our spicy attorney dust off the quill and dip the…ahem…tip….into the inkwell of public records in the aptly named piece: Just the Tip.
Not to be lost in the humour, public records requests are a continued weapon we use against corruption, wrongful convictions and fraud. Somebody Else’s Lawyer is one of the best and makes no bones about lecturing Justin on the subject on camera.

Ghost Story - a Wondery Podcast
I needed a series to keep me company on a road trip into the mountains this winter. While the title led me to believe I was in for a spookier, ghostier time, I was immediately sucked into the investigation of this historical murder, a mysterious family and their lasting ties to this mortal coil.
Host Tristan Redman is a seasoned journalist who doesn’t believe in ghosts. But weird things happened in the bedroom he lived in as a teenager. Years later, when he discovers that the ghost of a faceless woman has visited subsequent occupants of the same house, he’s curious. Because it just so happens that Tristan’s childhood home is right next door to the house where his wife’s great-grandmother, Naomi Dancy, was murdered in 1937 – killed by two gunshots to the face.
Get your spooky on, touch grass (hopefully in the sun) and recover some spoons this weekend. There’s always more bullshit to fight next week, after all.
